After the grain is put into the warehouse, it should be ventilated according to the needs and climatic conditions, reduce the temperature and moisture of the grain, and increase the safety of the grain storage. After the grain is put into the warehouse, the natural low temperature in winter is used for mechanical ventilation, and the grain temperature in the steel silo is gradually reduced to a lower temperature in stages (the northern region can generally drop to about 0 °C, and the southern region can be reduced to about 5 °C to 10 °C). . After the ventilation is completed, the sealing and heat insulation of the outlets of the warehouse and the vents should be done. The ventilated and cooled grain surface should be covered and sealed in due course. In the spring and summer temperature rise season, the roof fan should be used for ventilation, and the heat accumulation in the warehouse roof should be eliminated in time to reduce the difference between warehouse temperature and grain temperature. The mechanical ventilation of the steel silo should be equipped with a ventilation automatic control system and a manual operating system. The mobile large-scale ventilator should have a step-down starting device, the ventilator should be equipped with a damper device, and the ventilator moving trolley should have a locking device to prevent displacement; the ventilator outlet is connected to the air inlet of the steel silo by a hose. The natural exhaust vents of the warehouse roof should be opened when ventilated. The overhead axial fan can also be opened if necessary during ventilation. In addition to the mechanical ventilation system, the steel silo should also be equipped with 1 set - 2 sets of single-tube ventilation units to deal with the problem of local heating of the grain pile.
